Fleet Response keeps Go With Gecko moving

For over 8 years now, Roadside Response has been proudly helping Australian’s in their most trying time of need to get back on the road quickly and efficiently.  Cracked windscreens? Flat tyres? Flat battery? We’ve been there to see you back on the road, back on with your day, with the professionalism and quality service that you’d expect.

But far from just helping out our fellow Aussies to get back on the road when they are stuck, if you’re in a business that has vehicles out on the road, you too probably know all too well the pain and frustration that a broken-down vehicle can cause for your operations.   From delays in shipments to people resources not being where they should be, it can be just as stressful a situation on the business as it can be on the stuck driver.

That’s why we’ve been really proud of our Fleet Response partnership with Go With The Gecko, Australia’s premier vehicle hire company.  They have an extensive range of utes, vans and trucks that they hire out to people all around Australia; helping those hirers to move items around town and around the country.  These Go With The Gecko vehicles have moved it all, from large homes to small delicate items, as their one-way interstate or return hire vehicles have been getting these items around more safely and more efficiently than ever before.

Roadside Response has been the exclusive Fleet Response Roadside Assistance service provider for Go With The Gecko for over 7 years now, ensuring that their hired vehicles are immediately attended to if an emergency situation should occur.  This service guarantee has allowed for extra peace of mind for Go With The Gecko’s hirers, knowing that they’ll be taken care of should an unforeseen incident strike them down.  Locked out of their car? Been in an accident? Run out of gas?  We’ve been there to help these stranded drivers when they needed it most.

Our arrangement with Go With The Gecko provides their hirers with great flexibility in their service options.  While our standard coverage is applied to all vehicle hires handled through Go With The Gecko for free, they also have the ability to take on additional premium services to gain access to more complete service coverage, providing a wider range of options and better peace of mind that comes with the inherent risk of taking a hired vehicle out on the streets.

These risks are fairly common; we see them daily.  And for Go With The Gecko, there’s no better example than what happened to Derek Johnstone from Glen Waverley, Victoria when he hired a Van and accidentally left the interior light on in the cargo area overnight after loading up during a house move.  One panicked phone call to the Go With The Gecko Roadside Assistance helpline and we sent a technician out to the vehicle, boosted the battery and got John back on his way to moving house in under 50 minutes.  “Thanks to Roadside Response’s support of Go With The Gecko’s hirers, people have felt more confident and comfortable with hiring from us, and we’ve been able to keep them moving their items around the town with less downtime and inconvenience on their day,” said the Gecko’s Head of Operations, Keero Keldetis when we asked for a comment about how our Fleet Response program was delivering for them.
