M.G. Car Battery

The M.G car company is a British car manufacturer that was founded in 1924 by Cecil Kimber. It is mainly associated with the production of luxurious two-seat convertible cars. However, it also manufactures saloon cars as well as coupes. The name MG was derived from Morris garages where Cecil Kimber was an employee. The exact date of when MG Car Company was started is still a subject of debate although the company itself puts it at 1924.

The very first car models were the re-bodied models from Morris and were manufactured in small premises in Oxford. In 1925, the demand for the cars increased prompting the company to move to a larger premise. By the year 1928, the company was large enough to have its own identity and that is when M.G Car Company was born. There have been several owners of the company over the years as a result of mergers and acquisitions including British Motor Corporation, British Motor Holdings, British Leyland Motor Corporation among others. We take a look at some of the most popular models to be manufactured by M.G.

The first model we will look at is the MG3 model. This model was first introduced in China in 2011 and was later launched in the UK in 2013. It features a stylish exterior that naturally attracts anyone from any angle. It comes with the standard LED daylights and a stylish windscreen that streamlines your drive with absolute comfort. It appears small from the outside but the MG3 has a very spacious interior with a 5 passenger capacity and ample leg room for comfort. In addition to that, the leather interior gives it a stylish finish and a comfortable feel as you drive along. Additional technology is also characteristic of this model with Bluetooth functionality as well as DAB radio. The MG3 was introduced as a low cost contender and came with a standard 1.5 L petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission and 105 horsepower. The car also features a 175km/h top speed with an acceleration of 0-60km/h in 10 seconds.

The second model we will look at is the MG6 GT. This model was announced in April of 2009 in Shanghai as a hatchback. It was later commercialized in the UK in May 2011. It has a spacious interior with a capacity of 5 passengers and comes packed with a number of safety features including Electronic Brake distribution system, an anti-lock braking system and a stability control system. It features a 1.9 L petrol engine with a 193km/h top speed. It is a front wheel drive that has an acceleration of 0-60km/h in 8.4 seconds and features a 5-speed manual transmission.

Thanks for the great service. I didn’t realise that getting a battery delivered and installed cost less than buying it in the shops. I’ll be telling all my mates about Roadside Response.

I just want to thank you for getting to my house so fast. The car didn’t want to start this morning and I needed to get to work. The guy who changed the battery was real friendly and I was able to get to work almost on time (only 12 minutes late).

“No Road Assist Membership & needed a jumpstart at the Airport, 45 minutes from start to finish, great job!”
